How It All Began
Our Story
A love story that started with friendship, grew through laughter
and led to forever.
How We Met
It started the way the best stories do — unexpectedly. Nia and Darryl crossed paths at work, first as colleagues, then as friends. But somewhere between the shared laughs and late conversations, they both realised this was something more.
The Proposal
What started as stolen glances turned into a love that grew quietly and deeply. They built a life together, one small moment at a time. Then on 9 December, after almost four years, Darryl got down on one knee — and of course, she said yes.

About 2 hours from Cape Town
Follow the coast road through the beautiful Overberg region towards Gansbaai. The venue is tucked away in nature — the perfect escape for a weekend celebration.

This is a weekend celebration — arrive on Friday, enjoy the wedding on Saturday, and wind down together on Sunday.

There is accommodation at the venue for the entire weekend, with enough space for all our guests to stay on site.
Because this is a weekend wedding, we'd really appreciate it if everyone stays with us so we can enjoy the full celebration together.
It gives everyone the chance to relax, experience the beautiful surroundings, and celebrate every special moment with us. We can't wait to spend the weekend with you all.

Our wedding will be semi-formal, and we want it to be a cheerful, colourful day — so we're asking all our guests to wear bright, vibrant spring colours.
Pre-drinks will be on the grass, so we recommend wearing appropriate outdoor shoes so you can walk comfortably and enjoy the celebrations.
